I’m Mahnur Gilani, a writer and conversationalist from Karachi, Pakistan. My journey has taken me across multiple countries and cultures, giving me a unique perspective on how identity and society collide in shaping our lives. As a Pakistani daughter, wife and now mother, I carry the weight of traditions that define us, but I’ve also had the privilege of viewing them through the lens of global experiences. This duality — rooted yet expansive — has shaped the way I think, question, and speak. My work is driven by the belief that bold conversations can disrupt old narratives, bridge divides, and open pathways toward meaningful change
